Refund Policy
Last updated:
This policy covers the noteloom for Desktop one-time purchase (see noteloom for Desktop). The noteloom npm package and this website remain free and are not covered here, since nothing about them is ever purchased — see Terms & Conditions for those.
14-day money-back guarantee
If noteloom for Desktop isn't right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date — no questions asked, no justification needed. This is on top of the free 14-day trial you can use before buying at all, so between the two you have real time to decide before any money is at risk.
How to request one
Email the address on your purchase receipt (or the payment processor's own order page, which also supports requesting a refund directly) with the email address you purchased under. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method and can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer — that part is outside our control once the payment processor issues it.
What happens after a refund
Your license is deactivated and any devices activated under it stop working once the refund is processed. Notes you've created stay on your own device either way — nothing is remotely deleted — but if you had cloud sync enabled, sync stops and the encrypted copies on our server for that account are deleted within a reasonable period after the refund.
After the 14-day window
Refunds after 14 days are considered case-by-case — reach out and explain the situation. There's no guarantee one will be issued past the window, but genuine cases (a real defect, a billing mistake) are handled fairly rather than by the calendar alone.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
